This beautiful Rainbow Chumpi stone set, crafted by our master artisans, features the colors of the chakras, from 1 to 7. In Quechua, the language of the Q’ero people, «Kuichi» means rainbow, and «Chumpi» refers to the lines and belts of energy that each stone attracts and emanates. This new Chumpi family is hand-carved in Cusco by a master artisan. As the first rainbow stone set of its kind, it is inspired by the Q’ero shamans, spiritual advisors to the Incas, and their rainbow banner. These stones also chart our energetic journey from the first to the seventh chakra. They have the potential to energize our rainbow body and open the portals within our luminous field.
By bringing a rainbow to your table, you enliven the vibrations of each color, shape, and realm they represent.
Each handcrafted Rainbow Chumpi has a unique texture. Handling these stones is like holding the Andes in your hands. These Chumpi stones come from the Peruvian Andes: quartz, red jasper, chrysocolla, aventurine, serpentine, sodalite, and amethyst.
Chumpi Stones: Chumpi stones have been used in ceremonies for centuries. They hold the keys to the cosmology of the Inca culture and have the power to generate a network of connection with the elements of creation: earth, water, fire, air, and pure spirit.
Please note that there may be slight variations in your items as all our textiles are hand-crafted by local artisans, using traditional techniques. Colours may vary slightly due to variances in display monitors.
Ancestral traditions that date back thousands of years are still being performed and practiced in the Andean highlands of Peru’s remote regions. The Despacho ceremony, an offering to Pachamama, is one of Peru’s oldest, and most sacred, rituals; one that allows the people of the Andes to give thanks to their one and only goddess: Pachamama, our Mother Earth.
A despacho offering is a symbolic way in which human beings give back to Pachamama for what they abundantly receive from her. In essence, the purpose is the restoration of exchange between humans and nature, bringing both into balance.
